This privacy policy (“Policy”) informs you of your choices and our practices in relation to your Information (as defined below). In this Policy, “we” or “us” refers to Block Meister Pte Ltd (“Block Meister”, “we”, “us”), a private limited liability company incorporated in Singapore.
We are the data controller under the PDPA and applicable privacy laws.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to make sure you understand it. By using our Services, you are automatically deemed to agree to accept and be legally bound by this policy.
You should read our Terms Of Services too which explains the terms and conditions under which we offer you access to our Platform and Services.
For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not agree with the Privacy Policy herein or with our Terms Of Services, you should not proceed to register, access or use our Services and our Platform.

2. Minors
Our services are not available for use by children and are intended for persons over the age of 18 years old. Please refer to your country laws in accordance with age appropriate guidance.
We do not intentionally gather Personal Data from visitors who are under the age of 18. Our Terms of Service require all users to be at least 18 years old. Users who are under 18 years old may use a parent or guardian’s account, but only with the involvement of the account holder. If a minor submits Personal Data to us and we learn that the Personal Data is the information of a user under 18, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible.
3. Types of Data we collect:

3.2. Information collected via usage of our Services & Technology
3.2.1. Whenever you use our Services, we collect the following information:

Your answers to the Art Bot questionnaire

What artwork you thumbed up or down

The type of artwork you search for using our filters

The type of artwork you viewed

The type of artwork where you click the “Buy” button.

This information is attached to your user profile and collected for the purpose of understanding your artistic taste and providing you with relevant suggestions for artwork we think you may like.

If you provide us with feedback or contact us, we will collect your name and contact information, as well as any other content included in the message.

We may also collect Personal Data at other points in our Service where you voluntarily provide it or where we state that Personal Data is being collected.
3.2.2. Information Collected by Our Servers.
To provide our Service and make it more useful to you, we (or a third party service provider) collect information from you, including, but not limited to, your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, mobile device ID and date/time stamps.

Log Files. As is true of most websites and applications, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyse trends, administer the Service, track users’ movements around the Service, and better tailor our Services to our users’ needs. For example, some of the information may be collected so that when you visit the Service, it will recognise you and the information can be used to personalise your experience.

Cookies. Like many online services, we use cookies to collect information. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to analyse how users interact with our Service, make improvements to our product quality, and provide users with a more personalized experience.

Pixel Tags. In addition, we use “Pixel Tags” (also referred to as clear Gifs, Web beacons, or Web bugs). Pixel Tags allow us to analyse how users find our Service, make the Service more useful to you, and tailor your experience with us to meet your particular interests and needs.

Analytics Services. In addition to the tracking technologies we place like Cookies and Pixel Tags, other companies may set their own cookies or similar tools when you visit our Service. This includes third-party analytics services (“Analytics Services”) that we engage to help analyse how users use the Service. The information generated by the Cookies or other technologies about your use of our Service (the “Analytics Information”) is transmitted to the Analytics Services. The Analytics Services use Analytics Information to compile reports on user activity, which we may receive on an individual or aggregate basis. We use the information we get from Analytics Services to improve our Service. The Analytics Services may also transfer information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process Analytics Information on their behalf. Each Analytics Services’ ability to use and share Analytics Information is restricted by such Analytics Services’ terms of use and privacy policy. By using our Service, you consent to the processing of data about you by Analytics Services in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
3.3. Information received from third parties:

Analytics information: We integrate certain analytic software, Google analytics, a third-party analytics provider. They provide reports that help us optimise our features. This information may include user activity but is not identifiable information.

Information from mobile measurement partners: we receive information from third parties to allow us to track performance and to detect fraud. This includes, IP address and location.
4. Type of Data we do NOT collect & Special Provisions
4.1. We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
4.2. We do not collect any financial information about you such as bank details, credit card information, wallet address…
4.3. We do not collect personal identification documents such as Identity Cards or Passport numbers.
4.4. Under special circumstances such as being asked to cooperate with a law enforcement agency, or to verify your identity in case of dispute or claims, we may ask you to provide further documents including your Identity Card or copy of your Passport. We will use these documents solely to the purpose stated and will not store them any longer than require by law or for the resolution of your dispute or claim.
5. How we use our personal information
We will only use your personal data (such as name and email address) when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

Where we need to perform the Services, we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data. We use this Anonymous Data to analyse request and usage patterns so that we may improve our Services and enhance Service navigation. We reserve the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and to disclose Anonymous Data.
6. Disclosure of Personal Data
We may disclose your Personal Data as described below and as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

We may share your Personal Data with third party service providers to: provide technical infrastructure services; conduct quality assurance testing; analyse how our Service is used; prevent, detect, and respond to unauthorised activities; provide technical and customer support; and/or to provide other support to us and to the Service.

Affiliates. We may share some or all of your Personal Data with any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under our common control (“Affiliates”), in which case we will require our Affiliates to honour this Privacy Policy.

Corporate Restructuring. We may share some or all of your Personal Data in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, or dissolution transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, Personal Data may also be transferred as a business asset. If another company acquires our company, business, or assets, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Some processing is necessary because it is in our or a third party’s legitimate interests, such as those of visitors, members or partners. We may collect information in a way that does not directly identify you; we may collect information you have shared with us and we may use and share such information as necessary for our business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.
7. Third Party Privacy Practices
If you access any service through a third-party platform or services such as, but not limited to OpenSea.io you must understand that those third-party services may collect other information about you (including information you share with them directly or about your use of their app or website) in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. The privacy practices described in this Policy do not apply to any third-party services. Any links to third-party services do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the third-party services. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for these third-party websites or their content.
8. Security
Although we have in place security measures to maintain the privacy and integrity of your Information, unfortunately, the transmission of Information via the internet is not completely secure. We may also take extra steps to protect your Information and minimise the Information we process. We care about the security of your information and use physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of information collected through our Service. In the event that any information under our custody and control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take steps to investigate and remediate the situation and, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised.
9. Where we process your personal Information
Your Information will be processed by our employees and third-party service providers. We take steps to ensure all transfers are protected by adequate safeguards. We may share data we have collected from your device in order to track user experience, such as website crashes. This information does not include identifiable or personal information.
Should we need to transfer your personal data out of Singapore, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

We will only transfer your data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.

Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved for use in Singapore which give personal data the same protection it has in Singapore.
10. Your Rights
10.1. Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. These rights are:

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

10.2. Access. You have the right to access Information, and to receive an explanation of how we use it and who we share it with. This right is not absolute. For example, we cannot reveal trade secrets, or give you Information about other individuals.
10.3. Deletion. You have the right to request deletion of your Information. We may need to retain some of your Information where there are valid grounds for us to do so under data protection laws. For example, for the defence of legal claims, respect freedom of expression, or where we have an overriding legitimate interest to do so, but we will let you know when this is the case.
10.4. Third-Party data controller. Note that where the Information is held by a third party data controller, we will use reasonable steps to inform them of your request, but we recommend you contact them directly in accordance with their own privacy policies to ensure your personal data is erased.
10.5. Objection and withdrawal of consent. You have the right to (i) withdraw your consent where you previously provided such consent; or (ii) object to our processing of your Information where we process such Information on the basis of our legitimate interests (see above under How we use your personal information).
10.6. Cookies. To stop our cookies being placed, please disable cookies for www.blockmeister.com on your web browser.
10.7. Portability. You have the right to receive a copy of Information we process on the basis of consent or contract in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request that such Information is transferred to a third party.
10.8. Correction. You have the right to correct any Information held about you that is inaccurate.
10.9. Restriction. You have a right in certain circumstances to stop us processing Information other than for storage purposes.

We aim to respond to complaints within 30 days; however, this may be delayed if you have not provided us with all relevant information.
1.1. Changes to Privacy Policy
We can update and change this Privacy Policy from time to time and the most current version will be posted here. You may be invited to review and accept the revised Privacy Policy to continue using the Services. We suggest that you regularly check this page where any changes will be posted.
12. Governing Law and jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
